Leaning Tower and Areviderchi

As it came time to make our way out of Italy we made our way past the Leaning Tower of Pisa and through Monaco and the southern coast of France.  We love the little towns along the Italian coast.  We spent one night in a little town called Zoagli.  It was fun to explore their piazza, their coast, and of course, their gelato shop.

We also were able to take an afternoon to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa.  A friend of mine told me of how incredible her experience visiting the tower and the surrounding area was and it did not disappoint.  It is a visual delight!

I never tire of the beautiful Italian old towns.  This is
some of us looking up the street and below Eli and Tessa
looking down the street, and there is the church right next
to the Tower at Pisa.

The Baptistry, pretty fancy.
Yep, we are tourists.  I particularly appreciated the beautiful grass.  It is the only place in Italy where we have found well cared for grass so far in all the parks in Rome and the surrounding area the grass was messy, weedy, and disheveled.  Just a funny quirk.

Lunch in super sunny and sparkly Monaco.
